Trend strength is close to zero, and short-term momentum is at the top of its scale.<\/p>\n      <p>A chart that looks this good on a pair with no trend strength is a reason to <em>execute<\/em>, not a reason to <em>extrapolate<\/em>. Position in the 50-day range is 99.8%, and in the 52-week range 86.6%.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>The rise is a two-legged move, and the rupee leg is the larger one.<\/strong> EUR\/USD gained 0.11% on the day while USD\/INR gained 0.18% \u2014 EUR\/INR gained 0.47%. Over three years this pair correlates 0.64 with USD\/INR and only 0.20 with EUR\/USD. <strong>EUR\/INR is primarily a rupee story with a euro overlay, not the reverse.<\/strong><\/li>\n      <li><strong>The rupee side is under structural pressure.<\/strong> The Indian crude basket is at $91.60\/bbl against ~85% import dependence, with Strait of Hormuz shipping at 17% of pre-conflict volumes and a second front now open in the Red Sea.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>The euro side is quiet.<\/strong> EUR\/USD at 1.15782 remains below its 200-day average, and the ECB does not meet until 10 September \u2014 outside this window. There is no scheduled euro-specific catalyst this week.<\/li>\n      <li><strong>Day-to-day movement is heavily compressed.<\/strong> Average true range sits at 74.2% of its 50-day norm, and realised volatility is in the <strong>11th percentile<\/strong> of this pair&#8217;s own three-year history \u2014 far more compressed than USD\/INR at the 55th.<\/li>\n    <\/ol>\n\n    <h3>Technical evidence \u2014 in plain terms<\/h3>\n    <ul>\n      <li><strong>The structure is uniformly bullish, without exception.<\/strong> Price is above all eight moving averages from the 8-day to the 200-day, with a 2.94% cushion over the 200-day.
